Howard M. Metzenbaum U.S. Courthouse: Utility Tunnel Restructuring

CC&E provided detailed cost estimating services for a comprehensive utility tunnel restructuring project at the historic Howard M. Metzenbaum U.S. Courthouse in downtown Cleveland. The scope included new construction additions, upgrades to conveying systems, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, site electrical work, and the installation of new and temporary fire pump feeders.

Work also covered demolition and replacement of sprinkler systems, hazardous abatement, plaza replacement, structural repairs, and improvements to exterior building structure and grounds. This initiative builds on the Courthouse’s extensive modernization efforts, including earlier mechanical system upgrades and plaza renovations. This project supports ongoing preservation and operational functionality.
