Toledo-Lucas County Public Library: Washington Branch Renovations

CC&E provided cost estimating services (4 conceptual sitework design options) for renovations to the existing 19,762 square foot library, which will create a new Washington Branch, along with ancillary library services.

Upon selection of the preferred option by the library our team was retained as the Third-Party cost estimating through the DD phase of design. Our cost estimators worked closely with the design team and CMr at the SD and DD phases of design to reconcile the cost estimates and continue to strategize cost efficient material selections to get the most out of the allocated budget. These efforts resulted in our estimate and the CMr’s estimate being reconciled to within 2% at each phase of design.
