Ohio Department of Natural Resources, ODNR Appalachian Hills Wildlife Education Center: Windy Knoll

CC&E provided SD, DD and CD level cost estimates for the construction of the new Visitor Center at Windy Knoll at the Appalachia Hills Wildlife Area in McConnelsville, Ohio. This new visitor center will have exhibition space, and outdoor observation pavilion, offices spaces, kitchenette, and Visitor's Center Shop as some of the new amenities. Our team helped to develop a master value management list to include project savings, as well as additional scope items required for this unique project. Through our efforts, the project's budget was increased to account for scope not previously known by the owner. The project bid with the qualified low bidder coming in 3% under our CD phase cost estimate.
